Sore throats and heavy heads
Sorry for the lack of updates. It's been a crazy few weeks. First, we got our HazelEyes back. Which means hanging out and loving the company. =) Then i've got assignments. And on top of it all, the Conference starts on tues. Meaning lots of work for the committee and being in the Centre even on our days off from uni.
My days usually start with 8am meetings and the latest usually ends at 5pm. Been at the office late for the past few days. Yesterday i got home at abt 8.30pm.. i've got extra work to do during the Conference.
AND i'm sick. Sore throat, fevers.. and i'm losing my voice. My body's protesting so badly against the load of work and the pressure. How to run around as LO and to be emcee next week like this? I really hope i have a reserve for the emcee bit. =/ My colleagues are falling ill as well. It's the hot weather outside and the cold cold Centre inside. I'm not surprised we're all falling apart.
I'm dying for a proper rest and to see my friends. As it is, they're going out for a movie tonite. Without me. I have to bow out.. need all the rest i can get atm. Wont be very funny if im still feeling this way next wk.
I'd better go and finish off my work. Got class in half an hr. Yes, we're still forced to do assignments and attend class on top of being exploited as cheap labour. heheh Thank god for the student volunteers.
