I think i'd prolly appreciate weekends alot more if i was actually working. But nonetheless, i have friends who work so we make the most of their free days. Don't think we've had a dull or quiet wkend yet.

Last sat night was spent having dinner at Tenaga, followed by shisha at SnS. Don't ask how that went.. it wasnt that great. I dunno if it's just PMS or disappointment, but after looking fwd to that night for the whole week, it pretty much sucked.

The next day was good tho. We spent the time painting Phoenix and Sugar Hamster's new apartment. Last week it was cleaning, this week painting. I love that place.. may not look like much from the outside but it's quite cosy inside. And that's before the furniture and everything's been moved in.

They chose pretty colours with yummy names like Vanilla and Coffee. By the time i got there, they'd pretty much finished with getting the Coffee on the walls, so they let me paint on the Vanilla. When we were done at the end of the afternoon, the walls looked yum enough to lick, and we'd ended up covered in paint. Also, walking around on newspapers coloured our feet black. But they were spotted with white wherever we accidently stepped on paint. I managed to do alot of that. =P Phoenix labelled us a new breed... Vanilla-speckled Bruneians. Should probably change that to Black-footed, Vanilla-speckled Bruneians. hehe

The paint wasnt hard to get off tho. New fangled water-based stuff that washes off without having to scrub too hard. Damn it. Wouldve been fun to walk around like that for a few days. lol

After dinner was Poker Night at White Chocolate's. His lucky charm dint work so well this time. =/ Initial plan to 'make it an early night' ended up with us finishing at 11pm and taking another 30-40mins to tidy up. Was a bit disappointed at the absence of karaoke machine.

Until the next session! This time i might bring cheesecake. =D

Note to self: Make cheesecake for Hoochie Mama. Preferably with lots of love. Before she decides she's waited long enough.

Cravings

Time sure flies.

I had my last exam on sat and it's already friday now. Last sat we celebrated my WC's bday and the end of my exams by attending a blacktie dinner at Empire. Just an excuse to get dressed up, and for me, lashed. heheh JIS PTCG event.. Summer Ball. Not quite sure how we got pulled into it but it was really good and they had amazing raffle prizes, which regretfully for us, were won by the surrounding tables. I have pictures which will go on my multiply soon.

I've spent the whole week so far refusing to get out of bed before 10am, being a bum and watching dvds, eating alot.. and then there were the movie and dinner dates. But mostly it was just bumming. =)

Yesterday was prolly one of the busiest days for me. Had to rush over to Anne's office at the last minute cos the DPMM working visit got bumped up by a few hrs. She'd asked a couple of us for a favour last wk and we thought we'd help her out a little during the visit.

Had lunch at home before visiting RZD in hospy. Poor thing had surgery to have his wisdom tooth taken out so he cant really speak. But he's doing ok. =) Get well soon, babes. Remember, ice cream and soup dates. ;)

And then movie night!! Lily and i spent the whole time making googoo eyes over Orlando Bloom. hehe 3 hrs? Not a problem. =P Was a good movie.. although it's one of those u need to pay attention to in order to get. And i dint even watch the second one. heheh

Need to make a date to see the new baby soon.. and to meet up with someone for sushi. Actually there're quite a lot of things i need to do. But it's ok, i've got time for it. At least till the others start coming home for summer.

Need to run out for lunch with my mum soon. Hopefully this holiday time will mean a lot of eating for me, and weight gain. And lots of trips! hehe Back later.. speak soon!

Mother's Day <3

Happy Mothers Day! =)

A day we hold tribute to mums everywhere and say thank u for all the times they pick us up and dust us off, for all the times they put up with us and helped us with homework, for teaching us the lessons of life, for embarassing us at the most inappropriate times but meaning well... all that, and they manage to cook and clean up after us. You dont need just one day of the year to show her u care.. so go grab ur mum, give her a hug and tell her u love her.

And if u have a mum as emotional as mine, she'll burst into tears. Also, if ure anything like me, and have inherited that trait as well.. so will you. heheh

I realise i havent had all that much time for my mum lately.. what with growing up and studying and being out all the time. But this gem of a woman's happy enough if i take her out for dinner sometimes and make time to gossip with her. All the hugs and kisses in the world cant make up for all those times she's been there for me. I love you, Mummy.

Happy Mum's Day also to Ka Elle.. u've already got the best gift of all. In time for Mothers Day too. =) Lots of love.

I've been busy trying to study. Havent seen my friends for a couple days now.. which isnt that bad. What's bad is if we dint speak at all. They know when not to bother me, but they're sweet enough to call and check up on me. Specially Lion and my White Chocolate.

So now im taking a breather from (trying to) study. It's bad that ive been studying but nothing seems to stick. I know most of this stuff.. it's always anxiety attacks that blur it all up. First exam's tomorrow morning at 9am. Not much else i can do abt it now except to just walk into that hall and do what i can do.

It's been awhile but i managed to meet up with my Hoochie Mama and D.Kool a few nights ago. Boobies came to join us a bit later. =D They understand im usually busy specially with exams now, but this time i had to make time for the Shinies (tho only 2 out of the 7? this time). One reason being that if i waited till after exams to see them, it'd be ages yet. And second, Monkeybum isnt around so we could gossip. *grin*

Sorry i couldnt make it for drinks the other night, guys... and for the beach bbq yesterday. Study, u know how it is. Hope u guys had the best fun and i shall join u for the next one. =)

Once exams are thru, i need to make more cheesecake. Hooch complained that she asked for cheesecake and all i had to offer was chocolate. Albeit they were champagne chocolates that are to die for and i used to call them mini-orgasms. Many believed it was an exaggeration on my part... but the look on their faces the second the choc starts melting in their mouths, tells a completely different story. ;)

I have to run out for Mothers Day lunch soon. Just waiting for the rest of the family to be ready. They usually have to wait for me, not today. I was up early. hehe

Luck to all those struggling thru exams and assignments now. Lee has his last tomorrow, lucky bum. I've asked him NOT to txt me. He does that to gloat. Cos it's usually the day he finishes is the day i start. Just cos he's visually-impaired, he thinks he can be a bully. Enjoys it too. =P Cant help but love the guy tho.. sigh, im a softie.

Will be away for awhile again, just need to get thru this exam week. Hopefully with no problems. But i'll be back to blogging pretty soon. Have a great week, people!

Congratulations to Abang Eddie & Kaka Elle!!

...on the birth of their gorgeous new son. =D

I can't wait to meet this latest addition into the family. Meow says he's got Abg Eddie's nose and Ka El's lips.. ive only seen one photo so far but i can already see where she's coming from. hehe I've been invited over to meet the new baby, but i think it's a good idea to let the family and new parents get used to him first. Then it'll be my turn to fawn over him. Auntie Rachel.. =/ I just had a picture flash thru my mind. 5 yrs into the future when the majority of my friends will be married, with babies. Auntie, indeed..

Here i am, taking a much-needed break from work. So naturally i feel the need to update a little. I've been sitting in CZone for 2 hrs straight doing work.. havent moved much, and my bum's starting to ache.

That's exactly what i txted Zack just 5 mins ago. Thought i'd be nice and share that bit of random. lol

Mi called last nite. It's nice that we've been hearing from him once a week. =) It's comforting to know that he's doing ok.. it hasnt been the same since the Force swallowed him.

Happy Belated Birthday to Hills. =) We surprised him on sat night with dinner at Lion's. Good food, great friends, shisha and the best memories. Wasnt much of a surprise.. for the first time in forever, he was expecting something cos it was accidently slipped to him that his bday was coming up soon. sigh.. and it wouldve been so perfect cos he never remembers.

I had to leave Lion's a few mins before 12 to run over to HazelEyes'. It was her mum's bday as well, and i told myself i had to see my HEyes before she left the next day. It was a lovely relaxed end to the night. Wouldve enjoyed it more if i hadnt been so tired tho.. least i got to see my girls. =) And catch up with JY. =) And give Joe a long overdue hug. =)

It's kinda scary to think that in 2 wks i'll have gone thru 2 semesters of my course. Which leaves only 1 left. So for the next couple wks, i'll be driving myself mad finishing off the last of my assignments and trying to cram the stacks and stacks of notes we've been given, into my brain. I'm just hoping it works.

There's so much that i've planned to do. But knowing me, once i'm free as a lark, i'll get lazy and justify that by saying i deserve it. Maybe it's a good idea to get that out of my system early on once i start hols, then i can get into the good stuff. =)

I've procrastinated long enough. Just a little bit more work and then i'm heading home. Too much work gives me a headache.

Spiderman 3

It's been the first night in a long time that i've been able to completely relax with friends over a movie. I have to admit work did cross my mind a couple times, but this time i feel absolutely NO guilt whatsoever for being out and enjoying my night. Cos i managed to finish off a report and a presentation today. I'm proud of myself. Made myself do lotsa work.. then again it was a lot easier cos my Monkeybum isn't around.

The past couple weeks have been hectic. Yea what else is new.. everything in my life is hectic. RZD says i'm always busy, everytime he asks. I cant wait till exams are over. Not too long to go now.. although i'm dreading when the time comes for us to sit down in that big hall and get judged at how intelligent we really are (or pretend to be).

In the span of just over a week, we managed to sneak down to Miri to get Hippo's presents, keep her bday arrangements from her, and organise AND execute her bday surprise. It was a helluva stressful time tho. Cos she just WOULD NOT STOP WITH THE DIGGING. She loves surprises. She expects them. Yet she cant just sit back and enjoy it. No. She has to spend every possible moment, bugging us abt it.. digging and digging till we just wanna dig a hole and put HER in it. I threatened her by saying that if she so much as mentions her bday next yr, i'm calling off all plans, surprise or no.

It worked tho. Dark Choc was quite satisfied cos this is the first time ever we've managed to carry it off without her knowing anything. It wasnt one surprise.. it was more like 3 (or more). So after a whole lot of lying to her, and rushing and planning everything in such a short amount of time.. i'm so glad to be able to say IT'S OVER. I get a whole year to rest before her birthday rolls around again. Just thinking abt it makes me tired...

I'd like to write more but i'm quite tired now. I just wanna wash up, change and curl up in bed with a book.
